PORTFOLIO Introduction: In my portfolio below, I have included a range of scales of work, from my textbook and larger pieces, all compiling to create my concept of Duality and showcasing my expressive and quality pieces along with development that have achieved this. My main medium used is oil paint as I feel it is limitless when it comes to expressive but also intricate work, two things I aim for in all my pieces, especially when painting portraiture. Duality for me was an extremely interesting topic, and I have found more about this concept through my reading of 'Jekyll and Hyde' and my analysis of 'The Picture of Dorian Gray'- a book heavily focused on a man blurring the lines between art and reality, an idea I have portrayed through my work.
